Continuing with making the Patreon reward pin ups available to everyone after a year, here’s the one from September 2018. It was shortly after Joy was introduced in the strips so I asked Deviant Life artist D. White to include her in the pin up.
If anyone is wondering what Audrey’s response was to one of her boyfriends running it by her that he was thinking of asking out one of her girlfriends on a proper date, she squeeed with delight. She ships Isaac and Joy pretty hard.
This one is overdue because I’m a dumbass that writes scripts while half asleep then sends them to my artist without proofreading them, then notices errors while getting ready to post the strip.
Valentine’s Day can be a weird holiday when you’re polyamorous. Personally, I don’t celebrate it if I can at all avoid it, but obviously it’s a big deal for a lot of people and it can be a beautiful and fun thing but also a common catalyst for spikes in jealousy, competitiveness, and leveraging of couple’s privilege.
Happy Celebrate Bisexuality Day! Well, happy day before Celebrate Bisexuality Day, anyway. Being bisexual myself, I’m glad I actually managed to be aware enough of when the day was to make sure a strip about it fell on the same weekend.
The dark haired woman, by the way, is Joy. I don’t think I mentioned her name in her first appearance. To clear up some confusion people had about her, she’s a cis-woman who frequently dresses in traditionally male clothes.
Fun fact, though, Bernard’s brother Sam is trans. The first strip I wrote with him would have made that clear, but it was scrapped because it was more sad and potentially triggering than funny, being about how awful their extremely conservative parents are and why Bernard will be joining his brother in not having anything to do with them.
As usual, I want to signal boost the next Stigma Unbound event, Stigma Unbound: Lust for Life. I’m not affiliated with them, but I can almost always be found at them.
