Valentine’s Day can be a weird holiday when you’re polyamorous. Personally, I don’t celebrate it if I can at all avoid it, but obviously it’s a big deal for a lot of people and it can be a beautiful and fun thing but also a common catalyst for spikes in jealousy, competitiveness, and leveraging of couple’s privilege.

Happy Halloween!
This is my favorite holiday because it’s about letting imagination run wild, celebrating the dark and macabre, confronting fears, expanding our comfort zone, and exploring ourselves through the identities we choose to slip into for a night.
I hope everyone has the Halloween experiences they desire, so long as it’s all in good fun and no harm is done.
On that note, remember that wearing a costume is not inherently consent to be touched no matter how sexy or skimpy it is, people who are intoxicated cannot consent, and if someone gives you any indication that they’re not enjoying their interactions with you then you should back off. We’re supposed to be pretending to be fantasy monsters, not actually being real monsters.
That said, get out there and make some memories.
