Happy Celebrate Bisexuality Day! Well, happy day before Celebrate Bisexuality Day, anyway. Being bisexual myself, I’m glad I actually managed to be aware enough of when the day was to make sure a strip about it fell on the same weekend.
The dark haired woman, by the way, is Joy. I don’t think I mentioned her name in her first appearance. To clear up some confusion people had about her, she’s a cis-woman who frequently dresses in traditionally male clothes.
Fun fact, though, Bernard’s brother Sam is trans. The first strip I wrote with him would have made that clear, but it was scrapped because it was more sad and potentially triggering than funny, being about how awful their extremely conservative parents are and why Bernard will be joining his brother in not having anything to do with them.
As usual, I want to signal boost the next Stigma Unbound event, Stigma Unbound: Lust for Life. I’m not affiliated with them, but I can almost always be found at them.

I eat a lot of Five Guys burgers for lunch since it’s the nearest fast food joint to my day job, so it was inevitable that I make a joke about it. Also, when I was a pornographer’s assistant I will never forget that one of the videos the guy I work for made involved a naked woman eating a bunch of cheeseburgers. Definitely not my thing, but clearly if there was a demand for that it’s not far fetched to believe someone would pay Audrey to eat Five Guys on cam for them.
Speaking of camming, I want to remind folks that if they’re in the NYC area they should come by the Museum of Sex to Support Their Local Sex Worker this coming Monday. I plan to be there.

I know my way around a rope a bit better than Audrey, but I’m just bare bones functionality. I really admire the skill serious riggers display.
Atlanta fans, I’ll be popping down to Atlanta for the first week of September to take care of some personal business, but since I’ll be in the area anyway I’m going to day pass Saturday at Dragon*Con. I’m not there in any kind of official capacity but if you see me, feel free to say hi.
New York City area fans, I’ll be back in time for Stigma Unbound and CUNT Collective‘s collaborative benefit for the Sex Worker’s Project at the Museum of Sex, Support Your Local Sex Worker on September 10th. As I’ve mentioned before, sex worker rights are an important cause to me, having known and loved many people who’ve engaged in many forms of sex work and having dipped my toe in it myself having topped in a few tickle fetish videos. Please come out and support this often overlooked cause.

I often say that tabletop role-playing games are my second favorite group activity, the first being sex. Given how hard it can be to get into a decent game of Dungeons & Dragons when you’re an adult, I can absolutely understand Bernard’s priorities here.

While the ongoing comic strips will still be black and white, I felt like we needed to go the extra mile for our Patreon sponsors and make the monthly pin-ups, which $3+ patrons will receive digitally and $10+ patrons will receive physical prints of, in color.
Of course, every dealer in vice knows the principle of The First One Is Free so this one is for everyone digitally. $10+ patrons who pledge by the end of July will get a physical copy of this one as a bonus along with the August patron only pin up.
Remember, if we meet our first Patreon goal of $100 per month, we will start putting out Deviant Life strips every week instead of every other week.

Meet Dace, a more casual partner of Audrey’s, and Sam, Bernard’s big brother.
As someone who respects monogamy when it’s a reasoned choice and not something people are railroaded into by assumptions and societal pressure, I generally don’t like to take jabs at monogamy. However, I’m kind of feeling fed up at the moment with how common it is for polyamorous people to be coerced into monogamy by possessive partners.
In happier news, I’ve had a rather lovely week. I went with one of my partners to see The Beatle’s Yellow Submarine on the big screen, was on the Curious Fox: Communication panel, and had a wonderful time at WitchFest. All of which was delightful.
